1 Introduction
Welcome to Mira’s Match Quest (“the Game”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), developed and published by Ghazal Taimur Malik (“Developer”). This Privacy Policy explains our practices regarding the collection, use, disclosure, and protection of information when you download, install, play, or interact with Mira’s Match Quest on mobile platforms (including Apple iOS and Google Android).
We are committed to respecting your privacy and ensuring transparency in how data is processed. By installing or playing the Game, you acknowledge the terms described in this Privacy Policy.
2 Information We Collect
We believe in data minimization. Mira’s Match Quest does not require you to create an account with your real name or personal contact information to play. We do not collect or request access to your contacts, photos, camera, microphone, physical address, precise GPS location, biometric data, or health records.
The information processed through the Game falls into the categories outlined below.
3 Gameplay and Usage Data
To monitor game balance, understand player progression, and deliver bug fixes and balance tuning, the Game tracks gameplay telemetry via industry-standard analytics services. This includes:
- Level Progression: Events such as level start (level_started), completion (level_completed), and failure (level_failed).
- Virtual Economy & Items: Stars earned, virtual coin balances, booster usage (Hammer, Swap, Rainbow Booster), and in-game power-up activations.
- Gameplay Metrics: Moves remaining, score milestones, and game session length.
4 Device and Technical Information
When you run the Game, your mobile device automatically transmits standard technical metadata needed to run and render the software properly, including:
- Device model, manufacturer, and hardware specifications (e.g., CPU, GPU architecture, screen resolution).
- Operating system version (e.g., iOS or Android version).
- General locale, language settings, and timezone.
- App version and build number.
- Pseudonymous identifiers (such as Instance IDs generated by analytics SDKs or advertising identifiers as permitted by your OS settings).
5 Google Firebase Analytics
We integrate Firebase Analytics (provided by Google LLC) to measure player engagement and app performance. Firebase Analytics collects in-app events, device identifiers, and general usage statistics to help us analyze feature adoption, gameplay difficulty curves, and user retention.
▥ Firebase Analytics Data Practices
Firebase Analytics processes pseudonymous device tokens and aggregate event metrics. For more information on how Google Firebase handles data, please visit the Firebase Privacy and Security Documentation.
6 Google Firebase Crashlytics
To maintain stability, diagnose unexpected crashes, and fix software defects, we use Firebase Crashlytics (provided by Google LLC). When an error or crash occurs, Crashlytics records:
- Crash stack traces and execution logs at the moment of failure.
- Device state metrics (such as available memory, storage, operating state, and battery status).
- Device hardware details and operating system build.
This data is used solely to identify, prioritize, and resolve technical bugs and performance regressions.
7 Google AdMob
We use Google AdMob (provided by Google LLC) to deliver mobile advertising. AdMob may process device identifiers, advertising identifiers (such as Apple IDFA or Google Advertising ID subject to platform permission), IP addresses for coarse approximate geolocation (country/city level), and ad interaction telemetry.
For information on how Google AdMob collects and processes data, see How Google uses information from apps that use their services.
8 Rewarded Advertising
Mira’s Match Quest features voluntary rewarded video advertisements. Rewarded ads are entirely optional and user-initiated. When you choose to watch a rewarded video ad, you can earn in-game virtual benefits such as:
- +1 Life to continue playing without waiting for life regeneration.
- +3 Extra Moves when running low on moves in a challenging level.
- +1 Free Booster (Hammer, Swap, or Rainbow Booster) to clear puzzle obstacles.
You are never forced to watch rewarded ads to experience the core puzzle mechanics. When you trigger a rewarded ad, AdMob serves the ad and verifies completion before issuing the virtual in-game perk.
9 How Information Is Used
We use the collected information strictly for legitimate operational purposes, including:
- Providing, maintaining, and updating the gameplay experience.
- Monitoring stability, resolving crashes, and troubleshooting performance bottlenecks.
- Balancing puzzle level difficulty and improving progression design.
- Serving rewarded ads and verifying virtual reward distribution.
- Protecting the integrity, security, and fair play of the Game.
- Complying with applicable legal obligations and App Store platform guidelines.
🛡 No Sale of Personal Information
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We do not share personal data with data brokers or unauthorized third parties.
10 Third-Party Services
The Game relies on third-party SDKs provided by Google. Each third-party provider processes data under its own privacy policy:
11 Data Retention
Aggregated analytics events and crash diagnostic reports stored within Google Firebase are retained in accordance with Google’s standard data retention schedules (typically up to 14 months for analytics telemetry and 90 days for crash logs). Local game save data (e.g., current level, unlocked items, lives balance) is stored locally on your device storage.
12 Data Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to safeguard technical data in transit using industry-standard transport layer security (HTTPS/TLS encryption). While no wireless transmission or mobile storage system can be guaranteed to be 100% secure, we implement best practices provided by our platform vendors to protect data from unauthorized access.
13 Children’s Privacy
Mira’s Match Quest is designed as a family-friendly casual puzzle game. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of 13 (or under the applicable age of digital consent in your jurisdiction). If we become aware that personal information of a child has been collected without verifiable parental consent, we will take prompt steps to delete such information from our systems.
14 Privacy Choices & Device Permissions
You have control over advertising and tracking identifiers through your device settings:
- iOS: Navigate to Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking to manage app tracking permissions or Apple Advertising to toggle personalized ads.
- Android: Navigate to Settings > Privacy > Ads to delete or reset your Google Advertising ID and opt out of personalized ads.
15 International Users & Data Transfers
If you access the Game from the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, or other international regions, technical and telemetry data processed by Google Firebase and AdMob may be transferred to and processed on servers located in the United States and other global Google data centers under standard contractual clauses and applicable international transfer frameworks.
16 Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect enhancements to the Game, new features, or evolving regulatory and App Store platform guidelines. When changes are published, we will revise the “Last Updated” date at the top of this document. Continued use of the Game following such updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
